Microneedling
The Microneedling helps to
- reduce fine lines
- reduce wrinkles
- reduce stretch marks
- reduce surgical and acne scars
- stimulate hair regrow in case of unpredictable patches of hair loss.
How it works?
The Microneedling device uses tiny needles to pierce the skin in a controlled and precise pattern to tighten, lift, and rejuvenate your skin . The automatic device has a disposable tip cartridge with microneedles. The device creates micro-injuries that encourage and harness the body’s innate ability to regrow, stimulate collagen production, and repair the skin through normal physiological processes. The microneedling procedure has a relatively short recovery period. We can treat your face, neck, décolleté, scalp, or any area of concern. A series of 3 to 6 treatments is recommended, spacing each treatment out 2-3 weeks apart.
How you should prepare for the procedure?
Discontinue use of retinoids (a class of chemical compounds that are chemically related to vitamin A) and prescription topicals 7 days prior to your treatment. Wait until active acne and/or any possible sunburn has subsided.
Important notes
Please advice your cosmetologist if are pregnant or breast -feeding, prone to cold sores or keloid scaring. We did not performed microneedling on pregnant or breast-feeding patients due to the ingredients in the numbing cream applied before treatment.
What you should expect during your session?
A numbing topical is applied prior to treatment to allow for a near painless experience. While receiving treatment you may feel pressure and a vibrating sensation. Immediately after treatment you will feel like you have a moderate to severe sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This is normal and will usually subside within 1 to 2 hours and will normally recover within 24 hours.
Post-care recommendations
You may still see slight redness in spots after 24 hours. Your licensed cosmetologist will recommend you a post-care kit to help soothe, calm, and protect the skin. Avoid sun exposure for 48 hours post-treatment and always make sure your hands are clean before touching the treated area. No exercising or strenuous activity for the first 24 hours following treatment.
